The Knowledge Hub

The Knowledge Hub

The Knowledge Hub or 'The Hub' is the online information repository for NSW RFS Training Manuals.

The Hub will be developed and released in three phases:

  • Phase 1 - Publish theory information from training courses which have been developed into eLearning modules (mainstream qualifications)
  • Phase 2 - Embed manuals and workbooks for all mainstream courses
  • Phase 3 - Monitor, review and ensure continuous improvement (including adding more videos, animation etc)

Benefits

  • Accessible - Members no longer need to wait for a formal course to begin learning. As more information is published and made available on The Hub members will be able to learn ahead and 'surf' content of interest to them.

  • Up-to-date - The Hub's structure makes it easy to make minor changes or updates, which means members will always be able to access the most up-to-date information.
  • Functional - Members can use the search bar to navigate their way to the information they need quickly. As each phase is completed, updates and improvements will make The Hub a more interactive learning experience.
